Yellow

Poor Finlay doesn't like the heat - we had to stop a few times on our walk for him to lay down in the shade and we had to visit a couple of springs for a drink! Katie doesn't seem to be bothered - she just keeps plodding on.

The strawberries in the garden are coming on nicely we are picking a good handful a day - trying to keep ahead of the birds and slugs.

I spotted these wonderful yellow flowers in the former lay-by alongside the A1 - I loved the vivid colour and the bright green leaves with a nice dark shadow background. I have no  idea what they are - but I am sure someone in blipland will know
