Grand Hall

My last visit to Craigmillar Castle ( for a while anyway).

This is the Grand Hall where the lord would entertain up to 70 people twice a day, that's a lot of food and a lot of work for the servants. The Prestons' must have been extremely wealthy.

I cannot figure out how you could have time to do this twice a day? All those folk must have been fu as puggy dugs!!!!! (translation - really quite full up with food).
