Barrybados Beach Boxes

The beautiful weather we enjoyed abroad seems to have followed me home with temperatures in the 30c region. It seemed a good idea to go to the beach, and the nearest is Barry Island (of Gavin & Stacy tv fame). It's known locally as Barrybados.

Being a Tuesday is wasn't packed and it's possible many of those there had thrown a 'sicky' - and who can blame them?

Barry has 24 vibrantly coloured Beach huts with stunning views over Whitmore bay.Two blocks of twelve huts sit either side of the visually stunning climbing wall and take centre stage on the rejuvenated eastern promenade.  The larger huts are around 2.4m x 2.5m, while the smaller cabins are around 2.5m x 1.8m.  Both are designed to provide families and groups visiting Barry Island with a comfortable base for the day as well as a private area to change and store their possessions. Summer hire is between £20 & £40 per day depending on small or large (with electric and water)!

They've become quite an attraction and many photo's have been taken of them over the past year. This is my effort.
