Dead Horse Point State Park

Not only does Utah have great national parks, they have great state parks, too - and this was the first one they established 56 years ago.
This is Dead Horse Point Overlook with a view of the Colorado River and the Canyonlands National Park behind it.
The man in the upper left corner is my photo safari guide/instructor for the morning. It's great to be with a pro who knows where to go, in the comfort of an air conditioned car!
