What a racquet!

When I was in Oswestry I noticed these huge tennis racquets marking Wimbledon Fortnight which were on this window at Pickles cafe, card and gift shop. It was a shame that the lady eating at the table outside had a large suitcase upended on a trolley in front but I prefer this shot to the ones with just the window, it gives a bit of scale I think.

This morning I went to U3A and the speaker arrived in his new car. When he got to the car park the boot (containing his notes, computer and visual aids) wouldn't open. The rescue mechanic couldn't open it so our speaker was going to have t go back to the dealer. He made a very good job of speaking for 45 minutes without any cues and had a big round of applause at the end!
