Voipaala Art Center

After the work day me and my artist friends drove to Valkeakoski, to the Voipaalan taidekeskus - Voipaala Art Center. It's located in the former Voipaala manor near the historic Rapolan linnavuori, a viking time hilltop stronghold. We went to see the Finnish Watercolour Society's exhibition. There were many kind of aquarelles, some I liked and some not so much. In the foreground of the photo is Irja Tikka's installation called Reflection.

From Voipaala we drove to Vesilahti and visited Niina's beautiful summer cottage.

It was a rainy day, with remote thunder. Olli's sailboat arrived to Stockholm in the evening and hubby will be back home tomorrow.
