Essex (Ox) Eye Was A Bit Crowded This Evening

Crazy bug-filled daisy! It was the plume moth, possibly Platyptilia gonodactyla, that first caught my attention. Quite appropriate considering that we have a Spanish Plume weather system heating up the country. As I moved in to take a shot I saw Crabby with her prey and then a green beetle, maybe Oedemera lurida, flew in. On closer inspection I could see a smaller beetle top right. Five bugs for the price of one. :)
