i had no control - after months of seeing others - posting gorgeous photos of - the beauties here yet having - no fortune myself at actually - seeing any at all - when this one swooped down - in front of my face in the flower - garden this afternoon - i could barely contain my excitement - an all out case of butterfly stalking ensued - i am shameless - fortunately the blessed little thing - had sheer patience with me - carrying on as if i didn't exist - paying attention only to the surrounding - flowers (notice she chose pink) slurping down nectar - allowing me to snap away merrily - needless to say, i was - in nature heaven - counting this as...
