Feeling Nostalgic

Went back to my hometown to visit my mom's grave. Driving around town, it was sad to see the town deteriorate. When I was growing up, the town was vibrant and thriving.  It had a population of about 15,000 people.  Today there are barely 4,000 and declining quickly.  This is the ticket booth at the Palace Theater.  I watched a lot of movies here. A single screen and no more than 4 movies showing. The theater was built in the 1920s and closed around 1975.  Today a local theater company uses it for plays. There's a photo of the front of the theater in the extra photos.

Some age gracefully.
Others are victims of time.
