Camp Courage
Here's Miss C, listening intently to the pre-parade briefing on how to erect a ridge pole tent. The tents were bought second hand from the army 40 years ago, so they would have many tales to tell.
Apart from a cancellation due to flooding a few years ago, this Christian focused scout camp has been held every year for 39 years. There were several second generation attendees present.
I hope my two enjoy the experience, it has many activities to offer as well as the scouting classics: drop toilets, bucket showers, freezing cold weather, gadget making and wood chopping.
