2015 Monday -- Swim Test
One of the traditional things that is done at family camp every year is the first afternoon swim test for kids under 13 years of age. If the kids past the test, by swimming out to the float and back, they are given an orange wrist band to wear so the lifeguards know for the rest of the week that the kids wearing those are "legal" to be in the water without a lifejacket.
We really thought Tristan would do the swim test this year since last year he so enjoyed playing in the water, but he elected not to take the test today. So he will wear a lifejacket this week whenever he decides to play in the water.
I've decided to not take as many photos this year as I have in past years at camp (when I have taken hundreds). I just want to capture a moment of each day if possible.
Good night from Catalina Island,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
