Oh, hi cat!?

The boy has gone off to do his silver Duke of Edinburgh hiking and camping thing. He's not been gone long and, yes, I miss him already. I don't envy him the trekking in this heat.

The cat, who normally spends most of most days in the boy's pit of a bedroom is clearly affected too, either by the heat or the missing boy. Anyway, just as I came into the nice, cool, dining room to clean up my working area and get some emails fired off, I spotted a flaw in my plan. The cat, asleep all over my work notes and almost on my laptop too.

I'm going to have to move him. Then he'll hate me.
