Strange sign

We had a stroll along part of the Lancashire Coastal Way near Freckleton and came across this sign - makes you wonder what's been going on!

Impromptu BBQ tonight as it is so nice. Tomorrow is going to be a shock, back to work after a week off and an early start :(
