Summertime!

Really lovely day- 25 degrees and a light breeze. Not looking forward to tomorrow though. 32 is too hot for me and I'll be spending all afternoon with a group ofjet lagged visitors in a room with no air con - joy! Passed this bank of lavender on my way to a meeting. It was on my daily route until I changed jobs 2 years ago and I'd forgotten how impressive it is in the summer. There's a real feeling of unrest across the institution- people are waiting for a set of announcements which will touch most areas. It's not clear when they will be released though
