Iris and the bee

The black iris(es) are wonderful this year.  I remember buying it about 6 years ago and it has never had more than three blooms.  It moved house with us and, judging by the considerable number of blooms, it seems it want to stay.  The bees thought so too.

We started work on a rock garden today.  A joint venture between Ellen and I.  Scary.
