Cambridge is gorgeous

So as it's rather hot I thought it best to walk Monty early, but what a gorgeous walk we had!
After dropping Lucy off at school at 8:10 I parked up by the botanic gardens which you don't have to pay for parking until 9 and set off walking towards Newnham and Granchester. The paths were shaded and cool even though it was already 24 degrees and a load of smilie bicycle commuters passed us by. We walked by the river and then into a beautiful wooded area with sheep in the meadow across the water. I couldn't resist taking a photo which is the one above!
It was 28 degrees when I got back to the car and its now 34! Maybe we should sleep in the Cellar tonight!
