Tea For Two

What a scorcher! It's the church Flower Festival this weekend and mum and I went down there to set up our display this afternoon. it was blissfully cool in the church.
We kept our display quite simple this year; mum's still not right and in recent years we've spent hours on it, suspended things from the ceiling, wrapped up a church pillar to look like a top hat.....A couple of years ago mum fell off a stepladder while were doing it and broke her arm!
There are actual sandwiches and party rings on the table and a bottle of beer on the shelf above; I'm wondering if anyone will be tempted to pinch them (not that they'll be very edible in this heat).
And thank you for asking, the assembly was a triumph!!
P. S the broom isn't part of the display.
