Layers of delight.
A glorious day for a first visit to Bystock Nature Reserve (in East Devon) I particularly liked the 'layers' in this pic. There are the trees in the air, the lily pads on the surface of the water, the reflections of the trees and sky in the water and the sun reflecting off the bottom of the lake. There were a million common (I'll say!) blue damselflies flittering about too, but I defy you to see any here. Sometimes just a faint blue blur, and I thought flowers in a wind were difficult to photograph. These little critters take it to a whole new level.Must spend some more time in this beautiful place.
