The Weavers' Triangle

I worked in Burnley from 1993 to 2000. Apart from occasional football matches I haven't been back until today. I went for a nostalgic walk around the Town Centre which looked good on a fine day.

I also visited the Weavers' Triangle. There were a lot of people around, attracted by a horse drawn canal boat. It was sad to see that Slater's Terrace still does not have a productive use. But the whole Weavers' Triangle area, once the greatest concentration of weaving mills in the world, may be about to realise its 21st Century potential.
