Otter!

After going on an organised otter walk yesterday, and not even seeing any evidence of otters, yet alone an actual otter, we just happened to stumble across one right next to Lochmaddy ferry terminal today. We watched it catch and eat some fish in the sea, then I followed it across the shore and it came out of the sea with a big fish right in front of me - great stuff! In the afternoon we had a walk on Clachan sands beach and the headed up to Berneray for a bite to eat a drive round the island and to catch the ferry up to Harris. I got confirmation that our trip to St Kilda tomorrow is definitely going ahead; so pleased we're finally getting out there!
