I see no ships ....

so we escaped to the cliff tops of Felixstowe today with a picnic lunch and the temperature was a good 15 degrees cooler than inland with a lovely breeze. We still needed to take a parasol to sit under to protect us from the scorching sun but it was still more comfortable than being at home. It clouded over mid afternoon for a while so we took the opportunity at that point to take a short walk along the cliff top for a refreshing ice-cream at the little kiosk. With the house closed up all day at least when we came home it was much cooler indoors than the scorching temperatures outside, and now at almost 10 pm it is only just starting to cool down a little! Lets hope we get the promised rain tomorrow to cool things down just a bit!
