Sweet William 'Sooty'

Up and out early to get some gardening done before it got too hot. Watered the veg beds and the annual seedlings which could be prone to drying out. Mainly weeding and edging and a bit of planting.
Went out again after 4 then worked until 7 with some more watering done after dinner and before Hampton Court.
The Sweet William flower is just beginning to emerge. I love its rich velvetiness.
