Blue is the colour ...

Traditionally blue is the colour of cornflowers although you do get other colours now, but my favourite is blue ... today I had planned to take poppies that are growing at the local nursing home because the first of July is the anniversary of the Battle of the Somme when so many lost their lives, but when I got there the weather had hastened the end of a fantastic show but I did get some pictures so I have an additional picture today with a solitary poppy for the Somme........
