Sand Dunes

The sand dunes are probably my favorite place in Colorado. 
They're just so out of place and perfect. 
Stephen and I hiked to the top today (which I did not intend to do but we just kept walking).
Made it just in time for sunrise. 
Moments later a rain storm hit and we had to run down. 
Despite the rain and fear of lightning it was one of the most amazing experiences. 
And just gorgeous.
