What a way to start July!  Seven of the grandchildren are now "in the house" and it didn't take them long to discover the new hammock in the back yard......we had just the perfect spot for it, between two oak trees about 12 1/2 feet apart.   Two of the older girls helped me install the enormous screws into the trees at a measured height so the hammock won't hit the ground.  Then they were the testers, to see if it would hold!  The one in the photo is Declan, from Natick, Massachusetts....one of the 5 kids and two daughters who drove from Boston to the lake.....they're all here safe and sound.  The remainder of the clan arrive over the next few days.  Eighteen of us when they're all here, quite a group!!!
