Happy Birthday Katie P

54 years ago when Dr D married as a young man, he and his late wife were given this beautiful 12 place setting dinner set called Glenwood, by Noritake. When we married 19 and a half years ago I insisted that it was improper for me to use it and that one day he might have a granddaughter who would treasure it. Kate Paris Ann turns 16 today and we will serve a family dinner on  the service when they all join us on Saturday evening and give it to her for her birthday. We hope that although it is old fashioned today, she will treasure it in time to come.
