Ready for home

Had a really enjoyable holiday in Boa Vista, Cape Verde, the hotel was amazing and the location brilliant although very isolated.  Our friends, Terry and Helen came with us so the time went by very quickly as we enjoyed their company. We didn't venture outside the hotel as there was literally nothing there, no buildings, no traffic.  We left the hotel at 9.30 am this morning and were driven to the airport on a very dusty and uneven track.  The airport was very small and it seemed like we had stepped back in time, I thought it was quite quaint.  The flight took 6 hours to Birmingham and we eventually got home at around eleven.
