River Chelmer, Chelmsford, Essex

A typical ordinary day which is of course, extraordinary for me.  Included shopping and opticians' appointment, a quick walk by the river that runs through the centre of town, and late afternoon and evening with my brother and his kids, all here at Dad's house. Our house. 

Extra pic shows Chelmsford's Tindal St at 2pm.  Leads to the main (now pedestrianised) High Street.  Where is everyone? 

Hottest July day on record - an easy 35ºC here. Phew.  I guess that's why there was no one around....

Having trouble with internet connection - mobile wifi with a dongle so apologies but time on internet is very limited so unable to comment, but will catch up when 'normal service' is resumed.
