YOU ARE BEING WATCHED
Today has been a good day:
Morning was spent on a training walk- 8 miles in the rain
then
The afternoon was spent in the company of Mr Smith We decided to go concrete and head down the coast to sample the delights of Torness nuclear power station. It is an odd place: there is a walkway round the place that is open to the public, but the signs leave you in no doubt that it is a restricted zone. The large cameras on the roof, and the constant Police patrols are just a wee reminder.
These odd shaped concrete blocks are specially designed to dissapate the energy of the waves, and they weigh 13 tonnes each. They are individually numbered. I spotted #10668. Goodness knows how many there are in total.
The RNLI seem to keep a reserve boat at anchor in this sheltered bay.
From there we headed for some culture the pub, where the Spain v Italy game was viewed over the head of a pint.
