Emily's birthday party

As per usual today started with cleaning and ironing before my brother picked me up to go to my moms to set up everything ready for Emily's 1st birthday party.

First task of the day for my brother and I was to take Emily and Stella for a walk whilst my mom and sisters done the sandwiches.

Our second task when we got back was to put another gazebo up and the bouncy castle then set up all the tables, chairs, decorations and food before everyone turned up at 2pm.

We also put up a big wolves flag in the bedroom window as a lot of our family are west brom fans. Obvously they wasnt happy when they saw it. Before everyone turned up my brother, sisters and I had a play on the bouncy castle which was class.

My third task was BBQ duty, cooking the burgers, sausages, jerk chicken and kebab skewers for 50 guests. I finished barbequeing at 4pm when I could finally relax and mingle with everyone. I hope that nobody gets food poisoning off my cooking.

My brother was in charge of the piñata making sure all the kids had a go and that there was no cheating going on (pic). In the end all the kids were rubbish so my brother who is 30, yes 30, decided to have a go and smashed the piñata to bits. At least the kids grabbed the sweets before he could get his hands on them.

Everyone had a really good time at the party and it was really good catching up with close family. If carlsberg did parties it would have been just like this one (apart from it was an alcohol free party).

I'm now going to watch the Canadian F1 GP and Ireland in the euros tonight as I will be hoping they win as several wolves players are playing for them.
