Damselfly on pink geranium
Back to Body Pump after a two-week gap. It is going to hurt tomorrow.
Straight into the garden when I got back to go newt-spotting. I managed to see the tail of one of them sticking out from under a water lily leaf. It was very well camouflaged. Good to see that it is still there.
The pond is beginning to settle down - water is clearing, there's at least one resident frog and the hoverflies, wasps and damselflies seem to have found it too. The bees were busy on the new monkey musk and ragged robin that I planted in the bog area yesterday.
Tackled the ironing mountain this afternoon - it is now all sorted, ironed and folded - until the next load comes out of the washing machine.
