foxgloves

What I really wanted to do today was sleep but that wasn’t an option. After a morning of household chores I had the choice of watching Andy Murray on television or going for a walk.

After popping into the building society to pay a cheque in (and being told by a very pushy cashier that I should be putting it in a savings account rather than my current account ……. er, think I know best) then foolishly answering an 0800 call (on the other end of which was a persistent O2 call centre person) I finally reached the tranquility of the fell. 

Took a different route up to Lily Tarn today, one I haven’t walked for years, and found lots more foxgloves on the south facing slope than on my usual route.
