Sea Dog

On the hottest summer's day yet, we decided to take grandma and grandpa for an air conditioned car ride. We all needed to get out of the city, and we needed - ice cream!

We went to the locks at Berg. Last time we were here it was relatively quiet, but today there were loads of boats climbing up and down the long lock system, and even more tourists watching it happen. I had to wear my life jacket for safety.

Mum went to get us all ice cream, and we enjoyed them at a table right next to the water. I was a bit worried I might not get any, but I did! Mum shared hers with me, my favourite soft kind. I liked watching the boats float by, and got some admiring looks. I bet they liked my life jacket!
