Soldier of the Scabious

My first sighting for a red soldier beetle... And on the field scabious as well! The colours were so fantastic when the sun came out after the rain. (yeah, the rain, this is North Devon of course!)

Quite an exhausting day again, a hell of a workout this morning where I sweated buckets and then clearing out boxes from the garage and going through all the memories again - I can't WAIT until it's all finished! :) xx
