Robin

This little robin seemed chirpy enough.  I'm not sure why he spread himself flat on the ground like this.  Afterwards, he got up and hopped away apparently quite happy.

We were in the Garden Centre.  We went to buy daphnia (little water creatures), which are supposed to help to clear the green in our pond a bit faster.  There were no daphnia, but of course we couldn't leave empty handed, and bought a lovely pink Gaura.  We nobly managed to walk past many other plants that tempted us - jumping out and shouting "buy me".

We stopped for a cup of tea, and ended up deciding to have lunch there - it was whilst sitting eating that we saw the robin.  I expect there are good pickings from the many people eating scones and other biscuits.
