Don't stop believing...

This morning we took a stroll round Richmond & visited some places of Barry [Alexander's Dad's] youth. It was pretty interesting, despite not having that direct family attachment that [almost] everyone else had.

I imagine revisiting a place many years later in which you spent so much of your youth, must be quite emotional.
There must have been a mix of fond memories of happy, carefree days, reflections of years past & sadness of what once was & how a child views life.
Things undoubtedly change over such a passage of time & I'm yet to fully experience those feelings myself.
Despite my presumptions of his true feelings, he remained as upbeat & jovial as ever.

Mid-afternoon, after some riverside drinks, we took the Tube into London to watch the Rock of Ages stage show. It took a little while to get going but I enjoyed it in the end.
A supreme visual & audio smorgasbord of 80's rock pop anthems & fret w@anks.

Getting back to Richmond didn't leave us with much walk left in our feet, nor energy try to get a second wind. 1 round of drinks & a bag of chips seemed sufficient enough to please the remaining desires of our day.

Never has a bed felt so feathery & comfy.
