Summer Concert

This evening, the Juniors performed songs, played instruments and wowed the audience with their summer concert including visitors from their partner school in Mamponteng, Ghana. Madame Vera seemed to enjoy the show, from her front row seat. We did have an unexpected break in the proceedings when an errant piece of music failed to be located, however the recordist played on valiantly and completed the set with only half the music.

At the end of the show, Mrs MacMillan enjoyed a standing ovation for all her efforts and commitment in not only producing the shows, but all the other work she has done with the children outside of the classroom including multiple annual trips to the O2 with the young voices choir. This will be her last academic year with the school as she has accepted a deputy head post elsewhere.
