Took this at 6.45 am today, couldn't sleep well and the sun was blazing, so here it is:)

Just added an extra photo of our "famous" Polo Tower, named after the even more famous "Mint with the Hole." It's a legacy from the now long defunct Pleasure Park on the same site. It had a revolving windowed cabin which rose up and down the column, giving the paying passenger...ssss, a wonderful view over Morecambe bay. The expense of taking it down, is responsible for it remaining right where it is to this day:( The building you see is Aldi's store, it may well be their only store, directly on a sea front, then again..who knows?
