Philadelphus - Mock Orange
We went walking along the canal early today, but at this time of year there's a bit of a lull in bird activity and it was generally very quiet and uninspiring - but all the same lovely to be out in the fresh air and sunshine.
I only noticed the Mock Orange was "out" a couple of days ago, so it's bloomed just in time for Flower Friday. I love the small and delicate flowers, they're not at all what could be described as showy, and I think that's part of their charm. My other "maybe" shot today was the yellow Buddleia Weyeriana Sungold which I've added as an extra.
Hope every one has a good weekend. :-))
