Black Ground Beetle

Sowed my white clover seeds this morning accompanied by quite a few Ground Beetles. I managed to catch one and put him on a leaf in a jar to photograph.  When I looked at him on the screen he was a bit dull so I made an adjustment using Vibrancy - it has shown the markings on his coat much clearer.  I'm pleased there are so many around as they eat garden pests.
