Mrs. K's Wild Side

This is part of the garden which Mrs. K. Leaves to do its own thing. It is about 12 feet by 8 feet. We like to think of it as showing what quite a lot of the land in this area would be like if there had been no human intervention.

At the moment there are 47 orchids which have seeded themselves. The ones you can see are Common Spotted and Northern Marsh. The sharp eyed will note the seed head of a Twayblade and earlier there were Cowslips and Fritillaria.

Knottman has to resist the temptation of going on there with his big feet to do unnecessary weeding.
