Martagon Lily

A fantastically flower filled walk up from Montroc, along to the Col du Possettes and then up to the Col du Balme and into Switzerland. A steep descent down to Trient and then the last leg busting (for some clients) climb up the fantastically old hotel at the Col du Forclaz, so full of history and atmosphere.

The stars of today's walk were the flowers, spring& trumpet gentians, mountain avens, vanilla orchids, numerous saxifrages and pasque flowers - but the blip glory was taken by these.
