Manchester Day Parade

Had an early start to the day, wanting to get everything ready for school/work tomorrow...so lots of ironing!

Spent the afternoon in Manchester watching the parade. The weather stayed dry for all of the parade which was great! Good turn out and lots of bright, colourful entries.

Returned home and the neighbour's kids were asking me if they're back at school tomorrow. I replied that they were, of course. Would I check on the computer? I did and they're not back until Tuesday!! (Well, the high school is open but the primary school isn't...just to make it more awkward!!) Good job they asked me to check!
