Late night drive to Newcastle Airport via A68 and Soutra.  A lovely drive and I could have stopped for a blip, but we were too excited to stop. I'll go back another time. 

Excellent company for the trip.  Audrey and an old ipod (with some really good tunes) - I think we sang (and laughed) all the way.

Newcastle has a lovely airport - a bit like Edinburgh before they made it too big.  Easy to park, quick to get out.

It felt good to get the girls (and boys !) home safe.  They looked tired but great. The trip back  home was full of holiday stories - until the snores started. Home by 2 a.m.
