Much of Britain came to a standstill today at noon for a minute's silence to pay respects to the 38 people killed in the Islamist gun attack in Sousse, Tunisia, last week.

I was in Loughborough this afternoon, where I saw this sign of condolence in the window of Thomsons First Choice travel Company who were the carriers for the holidaymakers.
