Celebrating achievements (300)

The theme for this year's Manchester Day Parade was "The Sky's the Limit, Celebrating Heroic Achievements".
Well, Im celebrating 300 consecutive blips today. Hardly heroic but an achievement all the same!

My blip depicts the Alan Turing Centenary Celebration float and you can read more about him and his work which is being continued here:-Alan Turing Centenary
Alan Turing famously cracked the Germans' Enigma Code in WW2 and was working on a theory about number sequencing and mathematical biology.
In 1952 he was prosecuted because of his homosexuality and elected treatment by female hormones (chemical castration) instead of a prison term. He died 2 years later as a result of cyanide poisoning, some believe this to have been accidental and others believe it was suicide.
In 2009 Gordon Brown, Prime Minister made an official apology about the way Turing had been treated after the war.
