More of the MagicFest at Summerhall - Colin Cloud, who with a mixture of magic and hypnotism scared the wits out of his audience by knowing more about us than was remotely possible or plausible. Telling us not only what we had written down on a piece of paper (easy peasy - hidden cameras? mirrors? secret earpiece?) but what we had almost written down before changing our minds. He even knew that a certain pensioner in the audience had cycled into the frozen canal last Christmas. Icy shivers up the spine indeed.

Afterwards, there was a dance at the festival ceilidh. Whichever magician had hypnotised this lass into a deep sleep had clearly forgotten to count to three and snap his fingers.
