Kayaking to Willamette Falls

The falls were a fishing site. Later industrialized by the whites. Now a strange juxtaposition of dead industry and nature. The river is being cleaned up. Still has wildlife such as sturgeon, salmon, ducks and other birds. I'm wondering what they're going to do with the old relics; big gears etc. Still petroglyphs visible.
