Winter berry sauce...

...will dress the homemade cointreau flavoured ice-cream and honeyed oranges that are Katie P's  16th birthday dessert menu tonight.
It will be preceded by bacon and mushroom consommé  to begin;
chicken and leek gratin accompanied by Goldenrod Broccoli  and Kumara Gratin with Ginger...all served on her "birthday " heirloom dinner set that we'll give her tonight.
