A Lovely Spot
Bill and I had a busy day which started, after watering flowers, with a trip to pick blueberries. A man Bill works with has property in the country and has lots of blueberries which he opens to family and friends and friends of friends. They have their home there and this little pond with a delightful place to sit and contemplate with something cool to drink. We are returning with our friends on Monday morning and help them get their berries. We had a lot of errands to do and we managed, even in the heat of the day, to get them all done. Now it's getting late and I'm getting tired. A good night's rest, I hope, then off tomorrow to do errands with my aunt, even if it is the 4th of July. Not much of a "holiday" for us, I guess. Such is life. 95 degrees today. An unusually long hot spell for us.
So, have a lovely holiday weekend to those in the US of A. And a lovely regular weekend to everyone else.
